Nasty... So, the doctor used a small canula to suck the fungus and pus out of my ear. Then he prescribed a powder to put in my ear. I had to go to a pharmacy that did compounds. I had no idea that a lot of pharmacies didn't do this. And, I had NO clue that powder cost so much!! $95 for 4 grams of some stuff called "Gold Dust HC" ... Crazy...

The Golden Ear
Went to an otolaryngologist today,(that's an ear, nose and throat doctor), and my suspicions about a fungus were confirmed. See the picture I took last week of what came out of my ear.

Ouch! I hope that your ear starts to improve now that the asteroid has been removed. And what makes the powder so damn expensive? Is it actual gold?
Oh, it's MUCH better now. I don't know what's in that powder, but it worked. Unfortunately, it got impacted and my ear had to be scraped out. Not fun. At least I can hear again. :D
